I've never been an ardent Marilyn Monroe follower - she's always eerily reminded me way too much of my mother.

But this Chet Baker track was sent to me by a friend and serves as a nice soundtrack to some incredibly stunning photos of her. She really, really was lovely. Particularly when she wasn't heavily made up. And it features her wearing one of my favourite dresses.
